The proofing process is very important. An error or omission can ruin an entire project. We go to great lengths to proof every job for accuracy. But Boston Business Printing needs your help!
As a client, it is very important that you take the proofing process seriously. Since we're working with someone else's ideas (yours), we feel that you should be the ultimate judge of your own project. Our online proofing system allows you to view proofs without leaving your computer. Please note that once you sign off on a proof, you’ve essentially told us that it’s OK to go. So if there’s a typo, it’s your responsibility to pay for the job to be reprinted.

To best understand online proofing, it's important that you understand the difference between RGB, PMS and CMYK color spectrums. When you view a proof on your computer, you're looking at color in the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color spectrum. When your pieces print on a traditional printing press, they are printed in PMS (Pantone Matching System) colors. When they are printed digitally, they are printed in the CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) spectrum. So, what you see on your screen is not necessarily the color your printed pieces will look like! So, it's important to understand this before approving proofs for color.
